Infographic | Elevate and Empower: World Language Instructors as Key Players in the Shift to Competency-Based, Blended Learning
In partnership with Rosetta Stone Education, Getting Smart released the infographic, Elevate and Empower: World Language Instructors as Key Players in the Shift to Competency-Based, Blended Learning. The infographic offers a quick, visual overview of the upcoming paper authored by Tom Vander Ark, Carri Schneider, Moss Pike and Winifred Kehl as a follow-up to last year’s, The Next Generation of World Language Learning. The infographic outlines the project’s goals and findings – including quotes from practicing educators and principals we surveyed, trends in evolution of blended world language teachers and our conclusion that world language instructors can and should feel elevated and empowered to initiate the shift to personalized learning.
The complementary paper will be released in conjunction with the team’s session at the iNACOL Blended & Online Learning Symposium.

Great infographic! It's of particular interest to me as we provide Virtual Classrooms to language schools and as the research suggested above it's the teachers who are key to adapting these new types of technologies. For anyone interested we provide free virtual classrooms for language teachers at: http://esplice.com
