At Shakopee High School, all students opt into a career pathway in human services, science & technology, arts and communication, business and entrepreneurship, engineering and manufacturing and health science.
The Academies of Shakopee, located within Shakopee High School in Shakopee, Minnesota, is an innovative approach to secondary education that provides students with a personalized and career-focused learning experience. This academy model is designed to connect students with pathways that align with their interests, strengths, and post-secondary goals, preparing them for college, careers, and lifelong success.
The school organizes students into small learning communities, called academies, based on career interests. Each academy offers tailored coursework, experiential learning opportunities, and access to industry professionals. The academies include:
