NewSchools Presents: Bill Jackson From GreatSchools

NewSchools, a venture fund working to transform education by supporting entrepreneurs, released another video today from its Education Entrepreneurs series with opinions, stories and viewpoints from edupreneur Bill Jackson.
Jackson is the Founder and CEO of GreatSchools, a nonprofit working to involve parents in students’ educational success. In his video interview with New Schools, Jackson discusses how his work in China inspired him to develop similar family-based expectations and support in American students through parent support as found in China. With the development of the Internet, he decided to use the new medium to get parents more involved in their child’s education. “GreatSchools helps parents be more effectively involved in their students’ education,” says Jackson.
