We asked Julie Young to talk to us about two things we have been curious about for a while: how did Florida Virtual Schools become such a big nationwide presence in blended learning schools? And how do they train their teachers to be effective online and blended learning facilitators?
The answers to those two questions are interesting. Florida Virtual Schools has a big presence in state law language, for one. We didn’t know that, but knowing that makes us wonder how other online providers can achieve the same thing. If you know, or if you have ideas, let me know.
