The Study Group exists to advance the best of artificial intelligence, assessment, and data practice, technology, and policy and uncover future design needs and opportunities for educational and workforce systems.

1. Innovating For Whom We Measure: Assessments must be redesigned to center the needs of learners, educators, and families. 

2. Innovating What We Measure: We must capture a more holistic vision of the skills and knowledge learners need. 

3. Innovating How We Measure: To measure what matters most, we must unlock new advances in measurement, AI, and technology.

4. Upgrading Quality & Explainability: In the age of AI, we must upgrade outdated criteria for quality.
