NuVu Studio, located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is an innovative, full-time school for middle and high school students that operates on a studio-based learning model. Inspired by the architectural studio concept, NuVu focuses on creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving through hands-on, interdisciplinary projects.
Students at NuVu work in teams under the guidance of coaches who are experts in various fields, including design, engineering, and the arts. Each project is centered around solving real-world challenges, fostering critical thinking, adaptability, and innovation. The curriculum is entirely project-driven, with no traditional classes or grades, allowing students to focus on skill development and creativity.
NuVu’s studios cover a broad range of topics, such as robotics, filmmaking, architecture, and wearable technology, encouraging students to explore diverse fields while developing a robust portfolio of work. The school emphasizes mastery of 21st-century skills, including design thinking, communication, and technological proficiency.
