About

A unique three-campus school helping youth navigate foster care, housing instability, probation, and other complex challenges.

Da Vinci RISE High, part of the Da Vinci Schools network in California, is an innovative public charter school designed to meet the needs of students whose lives and education have been disrupted by homelessness, foster care, or other challenges. Serving students in grades 9 through 12, RISE High offers a personalized and flexible education model that prioritizes equity, support, and real-world learning opportunities.

The school operates on a competency-based learning system, allowing students to progress at their own pace while meeting rigorous academic standards. With a focus on personalized support, each student works with advisors and mentors to create a customized learning plan tailored to their unique needs and goals.

RISE High integrates project-based learning and real-world experiences into the curriculum, ensuring students engage with relevant, meaningful content. The school also provides wraparound services, including access to counseling, healthcare, housing support, and career preparation resources, to address the holistic needs of its student body.

Classes are offered in a flexible format, including online, in-person, and hybrid options, to accommodate students’ diverse circumstances. The school partners with local organizations, businesses, and service providers to create a supportive ecosystem for student success.
