Experience What’s Next

How might we design a road map for Boston schools, where every learner, regardless of zip code, is on a pathway to productive citizenship? Where high wage employment and economic mobility intertwine with a purpose-driven life? It starts with curating, connecting and catalyzing the development of New Pathways and we can’t do it without you.

Getting Smart, alongside American Student Assistance (ASA), is exploring how access is expanded and personalized, how learning can be guided and supported, and how new capabilities are captured and communicated because when well implemented, these advances will unlock opportunities for all and narrow the equity gap. We are heading to Boston in order to highlight some of the incredible work already underway and to spotlight and facilitate the immense opportunities remaining.

Join an international group of edleaders, CTE Directors, innovators and more for Experience What’s Next: Boston’s New Pathways Between K-12, Careers, and Entrepreneurship. This event will take place October 6 and 7, is free and will be capped at 150 registrants.

Want a teaser?

Two years ago, we hosted our first regional New Pathways event in Tacoma, Washington. We were joined by local and national leaders in education, workforce and readiness. We captured a few of the sites and sounds here.

Logistics

Venue: The Foundry 101 Rogers St, Cambridge, MA 02142

Transportation: The Foundry doesn’t have designated parking, so your best bet would be finding public parking on the neighboring streets (Third St, Rogers St, Fifth Street). There are also a number of parking garages in the area if you need a longer-term solution.

There is a loading area if you need to pick up or drop off large objects, but you’ll need to find parking after dropping off. See parking options here.

The building is 0.4 miles away from the Kendall MIT stop where you can catch the red line and 64, 68, 85, CT2, 64, 68, and 85 buses. The building is 0.5 miles away from the Lechmere stop where you can catch the green line and 69, 80, 87, and 88 buses. You can find walking directions to The Foundry here.
