Innov8: Farewell #EdTech10, Hello #Innov8

For several years, Getting Smart has curated and published EdTech10–our weekly blog that highlights the top 10 edtech stories each week.
As we reflect on top news story themes as well as the topics most interesting to our readers and most aligned to the mission of Getting Smart, we’re excited to announce a shift in our weekly news coverage from EdTech10 to Innov8!
That’s right, we’re shifting from a focus on edtech-only news to news that falls under the broader umbrella of innovations in teaching and learning that we believe have the potential to improve access and opportunity for learners everywhere. We’ll continue to track the news and developments in the field as we’ve always done in the past.
We also encourage you to tweet us (@Getting_Smart) news items that you’d like us to consider using #innov8 or to email [email protected] with “Innov8” in the subject line.
We’re excited about this change and hope you are, too. Now, on to the top 8 stories in education and innovation this week.
