Aspen Institute Innovation Forum and Expo
In conjunction with its upcoming Education Innovation Forum and Expo: Leveraging i3 to Drive an Innovation Culture, the Aspen Institute is sponsoring a venture fair on January 19 in Washington, DC to highlight opportunities for investors in the growing education technology sector. The forum is a collaborative effort with Investors’ Circle and Startl. The goal is to encourage investment in innovative education solutions that hold the potential to improve student performance.
“This event will begin a much needed national dialogue on how to effectively create a more innovation friendly policy environment as well as attract more private equity investment to the education space,” said Gary Huggins, executive director, the Aspen Institute’s Commission on NCLB.
The DC based Forum will also be webcasting the proceedings at www.edinnovation.org and tweeting updates using the hashtag #EdInno. edReformer will be live tweeting and blogging from the events.
