At Tri-Rivers Career Center runs career and technical high school programs in advanced manufacturing, engineering technologies and welding. Through corporate partnerships, RAMTEC is able to offer high school students, community college students and adult workers some of the most current job training in the country. With a state grant, RAMTEC developed a network of 23 sites around Ohio.
RAMTEC Ohio is a pioneering educational initiative that provides training and certifications in robotics, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies. With multiple locations across Ohio, RAMTEC bridges the gap between education and industry by offering students and professionals access to state-of-the-art facilities, hands-on learning opportunities, and industry-recognized credentials.
RAMTEC serves high school students, post-secondary learners, and workforce professionals through its partnerships with career centers, community colleges, and industry leaders. The curriculum is designed to meet the needs of Ohio’s growing manufacturing and automation sectors, focusing on skills such as robotics programming, CNC machining, and industrial maintenance.
Students and trainees gain access to cutting-edge equipment from industry leaders like FANUC, Yaskawa, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens, ensuring they are trained on the same technologies used in modern manufacturing. RAMTEC also offers certifications in areas like robotics operation, PLC programming, and welding, making participants job-ready upon completion of their training.
The program emphasizes collaboration with industry partners, ensuring that its offerings align with workforce demands and provide a pipeline of skilled workers to local employers. By focusing on innovation, hands-on learning, and workforce readiness, RAMTEC plays a critical role in strengthening Ohio’s economy and preparing individuals for high-demand, high-paying careers.
