Horace Mann Elementary School, located in northwest Washington, D.C., has been providing quality education since 1931. Serving students from Pre-K through 5th grade, it is renowned for its diverse, multinational community and commitment to academic excellence.
The campus features a rooftop farm, arts classrooms, and expansive outdoor learning spaces, reflecting its emphasis on sustainability and innovative education. Mann Elementary embraces academic choice and responsive teaching, fostering an environment where curiosity and connection are celebrated.
The school is a part of the District of Columbia Public School System (DCPS) and serves the neighborhoods of Spring Valley, Wesley Heights, and parts of Kent and Palisades. It also welcomes out-of-boundary families through a lottery system.
