Chavous Speaks in Favor of Virtual Schools

I have edited this to say “schools” rather than charters, as it is not clear that charters is what he intends to say here.
Story below:
This was a seemingly new turn of events. According to Kevin Chavous’ Facebook status, he believes that education reform minded people should consider virtual charters. See screen capture below:

A long time vouchers proponent, Chavous wrote on his wall, “We need to start thinking more about virtual schools.” He apparently wrote this in the context of the opening of “the first ever Virtual Classroom Fair in Wexford, PA.”  Kevin is a member of the Digital Learning Council, chaired by former governors Jeb Bush and Bob Wise.  The DLC will release policy recommendations on 12/1 at the Excel in Ed conference.
