Contribute to Quality Education

I spent a little bit of money today donating to a school in Chicago. They needed a video camera, so I donated some bucks so that they could get on their way and start learning. You can do the same thing if you go to the DonorsChoose campaign that Fred Wilson, partner at Union Square Ventures is running right now.
Wilson announced today that HP is going to match donated funds this year, like they did last year.
It feels good to make a direct impact on a child’s education. This is the first time I have done something like this since being a teacher, and I think it will make the upcoming holiday season feel a little better.
