Learn the Physics of an Elevator In a High School Teacher’s SchoolTube Cartoon

Jeffry Wetherhold, a physics teacher at Parkland High School in Allentown, PA, created this stop-motion video to explain Newton’s Second Law in the context of riding an elevator.
The “Elevator Physics Cartoon” video, which is part of his Physics Phun series, demonstrates how physics learning can be creative and fun.

With video, students can view the new learning multiple times over in order to grasp the complex equations and concepts at an individualized pace. The analogy and visual demonstrates the concept in a way that is more dynamic and descriptive than a textbook paragraph and graphic.
