New Classrooms Innovation Partners Announces Plans to Personalize the Classroom

New Classrooms Innovation Partners (New Classrooms), a non-profit intended to help schools implement effective adaptive and personalized learning models, announced its launch today.
New Classrooms will reform the current model of learning to redesign the roles of the educators, students and learning environments for a more personalized approach. The non-profit intends to do so by using data and technology to identify and target the individual, academic needs of students at public schools, charters, and independent schools.
In agreement with the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE), New Schools will support School of One and four i3 grant schools. The non-profit is also scheduled to begin work with its middle school math pilot, Teach to One: Math, this fall in Chicago, IL; Perth Amboy, NJ; and an additional city yet to be announced.
New Schools is working in support of the Benzos Family Foundation, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and NewSchools Venture Fund. For more, visit newclassrooms.org.
