Millions of Families Voting with Their Feet

Bruno Manno senior adviser for K-12 reform at the Walton Family Foundation writes in EdWeek that a larger number of families are turning to school choice as a way of voting with their feet for their children’s future. Based on his calculations, “Out of slightly more than 57 million K-12 students in the United States, nearly 52 percent, or almost 29.4 million, are enrolled in a K-12 school of choice.”
