A Good Story from Higher Ed

People have been politicizing the higher ed loan industry and its education offerings. It’s gotten bad. But here there is light: Mark Kantrowitz is an entrepreneurial loan industry technician of numbers and figures. If information needs to be sought, he will find it.
I’ve worked with Mark before. He’s tireless, and a very smart dude. He got through M.I.T. on grants and math and science scholarships he racked up in high school and in his early college years. He has survived prostate cancer, and he’s helped a lot of kids get through college on loans, by coming up with ways for them to save money and strategically secure backing for their education.
