Arthur Brooks talks with Jon Stewart about the role of entrepreneurs in America. The two debate whether centralist planning in government takes away from entrepreneurial efforts. But the question I have at the end of this is, “Is this really a battle? Are the “forces” of social democracy really that strong?” I can’t think of many people I talk to pro-reform or otherwise who don’t respect entrepreneurs. Obama’s Race to the Top initiative is a very strong message to entrepreneurs to get out there and create. Brooks’ argument seems vague.
