Mark Parrott is a Coordinator at Getting Smart where he focuses on content development, social media, and strategic communications.
Before joining the Getting Smart team he worked at The Fearey Group, a Seattle-based PR firm, where he worked with a wide variety of clients and focused on media relations and content creation. From there he joined Committee for Children, a nonprofit organization that provides research-based educational programs, where he worked on internal communications and familiarized himself with the education landscape.
Mark has a B.A. in Strategic Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations from Washington State University.
