Ask About AI

Artificial Intelligence (AI) will have more influence on the lives and livelihoods of young people over the next few decades than any other factor. While AI will help address our most pressing problems, it has the potential to exacerbate gaps in society and pose existential threats. Our #AskAboutAI campaign launched to investigate the implications that AI will have on employment, learning and ethical issues--a conversation around how we can shape a future that works for everyone. After spending two years studying the implications of AI and we have concluded that machine intelligence turbocharged by big data and enabling technologies like robotics is the most significant change force facing humanity. We interviewed experts, hosted a dozen community conversations, and posted more than 50 articles and now we’re summarizing what we’ve learned in a new paper Ask About AI: The Future of Learning and Work.
